Why you need this workshop despite ChatGPT?

  • Good writing is good thinking: ChatGPT, while useful for text generation, has limitations in improving writing and critical thinking skills independently.

  • Hands-on: The workshop series emphasizes hands-on exercises, group activities, and individual advising sessions for comprehensive skill development.

  • Personalized: Practical sessions like editing practicum, memo writing, and advisory meetings provide real-world experiences and personalized feedback.

  • Collaborative: The structured format, including masterclasses and collaborative work, ensures a holistic approach to skill enhancement.

Also … who says we do not use ChatGPT in this workshop? We do! It is a useful tool to start thinking about a subject and extremely helpful to overcome writer’s block. However, it is inadequate on its own in developing high quality thought pieces.
