Emerging Entrepreneurs Lab

Join our cohort of “35 Emerging Entrepreneurs of 2022”

The OECD Report “Dream Jobs? Teenagers’ Career Aspirations and the Future of Work” rightly notes that “in spite of completing an unprecedented number of years of formal education, young people continue to struggle in the job market, and governments continue to worry about the mismatch between what societies and economies demand and education systems supply”.

With Industrialization 4.0, it is necessary to develop key employability skills at an early age to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. The skills developed during teenage are the ones that form the bedrock of thriving careers.

Our 4-week Emerging Entrepreneurs' Lab brings together experts and entrepreneurs together to train a younger generation of students to build an entrepreneurial mindset. Our vision is to bring entrepreneurship to ingrain entrepreneurial values among students at a very young age.

It seeks to spot entrepreneurial talent from all over to join our cohort of “35 Young High Potential Entrepreneurs of 2022”

"One of the rare programs that bring students directly in touch with investors, entrepreneurs who have raised funds, and venture firms, to guide them in their entrepreneurship journey."

-
Jonathon Cummings, Member Steering Committee, UN South-South Cooperation

What is entrepreneurship? It is a mindset. It is the creation of value by assuming significant risk. For the next wave of industrialization that we are entering into, we need a lot more entrepreneurs who can think globally and locally.

The skills of the future go beyond traditional marketing, human resource, management, finance, and operations management techniques that students are taught in their higher education.

What are the sets of knowledge and skills entrepreneurs need to have to be successful in the 21st century?

  • Understanding macro trends shaping the world

  • Converting ideas into products and services

  • Design Thinking to Create Extraordinary User Experiences

  • Make a business plan

  • Risk assessment

  • Understanding investment infrastructure

  • Understanding the policy landscape

  • Go-to-market strategies
